Ava Grace Austin

Gama - Bama - Bamaka - Bamacock (her name progressed over the week) came to give mom a break.  Ava and Bama spend lots of time playing with credit cards, flashcards, watching Elmo videos and reading books.  Mom got to take several great naps!!!

It was another hot day!  We learned that we don’t like corn dogs, that we can walk, and walk, and walk, and walk and that we like to stop and pick up rocks.

We are starting to “ham it up” for the camera as well as play our new favorite thing - dress up!

Notice the hula skirt (again :{ ) and the bracelets.

We are also supervising these days.  Daddy put in an air conditioner just in time for our unusually hot summer.

One plastic screw in each hand, a pink grass skirt rain boots and “we were out playing in the rain” hair.  Oh, and a belly button.

They were herded like cattle into the pack and play.  Most of them were not happy for most of it.

Ava only sleeps in her crib and sometimes in her car seat.  This was a rare nap in her stroller.
